Dr. Katende has been instrumental in organizing and leading Kenya’s participation in both the Pan African Mathematics Olympiad and the International Mathematical Olympiad. His work has inspired and trained numerous young mathematicians, many of whom have gone on to succeed at international competitions and academic careers.
